COD

I have been MIA for so long.. I've just been working at Target and any free time I have, I've been spending time with my boyfriend.
Anyways, I wanted to talk about how we've been playing COD (Call of Duty) Advanced Warfare and we've been uploading our games on youtube!
You can see our latest vid here:

Also, I wanna write down this awesome bbq I concocted just so I remember the measurements as well as if someone else wants to give it a try, go for it!

I'm also getting ready for spring/summer and turning my old jeans that I don't wear anymore or are kinda old into shorts! I'm adding lace and trying to do diy shorts so maybe i'll post them here!

Yogurt with m&m's

Yogurt with m&m's.

I'm writing this post super late because i've been super busy and just didn't have the time.

I had to think of simple things that I could make easily as well as cheap on my budget because I just started working and it's the holidays so i've been practically working everyday. Plus, Aaron had to go back home and I just didn't want to make big meals for one person.
Now while I was working at Target, I saw those individual cups of yogurt with m&m toppings and thought to myself, I could make those for way cheaper.

Also, on cartwheel, they had those greek gods yogurt for 20% off as well as with my employee discount made it easier for me to go get the yogurt and m&m's.

Now it's it was the holidays so I had to get the red and green m&m's and some greek gods yogurt. I chose the honey and vanilla flavor because it was the only flavor available other than honey.

I forgot to take a pic of the bag of m&m's but the way I crushed them was to put the m&m's into a ziploc bag, and with the back of the knife (the blunt edge of the knife), started "hammering" away.

I like to try to crush each m&m into fourths so it's a bit smaller but you can crush them into however small/big you want! Then you just want to sprinkle them over the yogurt. I know simple but I can't believe I've never done this myself before.

I like to eat in small servings and it's very satisfying and filling. I have a huge sweet tooth so this is my all time favorite snack as of now and it's festive!

I also found out it if you leave the m&m's in the yogurt a bit longer and wait before you eat it, the hard shell coating will dissolve and it'll be like little chocolate chips in your yogurt!
I figure you could also do this with the oreos with the red filling! Or the green mint fillings but I don't like mint. I would only suggest with the oreos, you eat them a bit faster because the cookie part of the oreo might get soggy :/

I hope you enjoyed and try this because this is an amazing treat! Also it's way easier on my budget and so simple and for me, and I believe this one jar will last around 1 week if you eat it everyday. :)

Thank you so much for reading!

Coconut oil + honey + cinnamon.. for soft smooth shiny hair!

hellooooo!
I have decided to try all these DIY experiments on my hair because winter is coming and my hair is getting all dry :(

soooo, i've been researching online and i've already known about coconut oil being good for your hair but also honey and cinnamon! Now honey has a small amount of peroxide and cinnamon supposedly helps activate it. Now obviously this doesn't mean the honey + cinnamon will dye your hair after one go but you need to do these treatments repeatedly. I'm not sure if it will actually change your hair color but if it does, then that's a plus for me! This mixture will make your hair feel really soft and smooth.

Now I use these ingredients in a 1:1:1 ratio meaning if you put in 1 tbsp of coconut oil, you need to put in 1 tbsp of honey and 1 tbsp of cinnamon.
I have somewhat long hair (mid back) and I use a 2:2:2 ratio but I'm thinking of increasing it to 3:3:3 ratio because I feel like it wasn't enough to soak all my hair.

I try to let this soak in for a minimum of 2 hours so try to do this after dinner. I actually have it in my hair right now. I put it in my hair at around 1 pm and I'm gonna be leaving for dinner at around 8 so i'm planning on letting it just sit in my hair till around 6 pm!

I know some people say to split your hair into equal parts and spread it throughout your hair and blah blah but i'm really lazy and I just bend over the bath tub, gather all my hair and get some of the mixture and just spread it throughout my hair with my fingers. Just realize that the honey is still very sticky and the cinnamon kind of bunches up so it is a little hard to spread evenly. I used to use only coconut oil and honey or coconut oil, honey and egg yolks but I like to think that the cinnamon exfoliates my scalp. Also, the added benefit that it'll help dye your hair is good enough for me! After this, you want to use that awesome target shopping bag (or wherever you like to shop the most) and cover your head with it to soak up it's awesomeness! ;)

Now just sit back and relax and let it do it's work on your hair!

When you shower, I don't like to shampoo twice so I let my hair run under the water and try to get all the mixture out. Your hair will kind of feel oily/silky(?) in a way because of the coconut oil. Other people say leave it in, but I like to wash my scalp with shampoo and then let the water run it towards my ends. Then use conditioner only on my ends. You don't want to over dry your ends with shampoo and you don't want to put unnecessary oil in your scalp unless your scalp is dry. My scalp tends to get oily very fast so I avoid putting conditioner directly on my scalp.

And there you have it! Nice silky smooth hair! If you continuously use this or the honey + cinnamon mixture and it has dyed your hair, please show me! Because I think this will be the last time I'm gonna use cinnamon in my mixtures and I'll go back to coconut oil + honey or coconut oil, honey, + egg yolks.

Thank you for reading! :)

Target Job!

I had an interview at Target today and I got the job!
I applied for seasonal because I figured that was the best way in. I need a job because I'm going to save the money and put myself through college since my dad decided he didn't want to pay. I know it might take awhile but at least this is a step in the right direction!
I had both interviews on the same day. First they make you watch a video on the job that you wanted. (I think I watched the wrong video because after my second interview, they made me watch the correct one and then they told me I got the job!)
Then you wait in the break room while they're interviewing other potential candidates. I got interviewed and they asked questions such as "If I were your supervisor, what would they say your strengths and weaknesses are?" "tell me a time where you had to work as a group and got things done." "tell me a time when things got busy and how did you manage." They also asked if I even shop at target and what things I buy. I also found out that you are able to use your phone and use the target app to help customers find the things they are looking for if they're not available in store.
There was a lot of waiting around but I got the job! I am so happy because I've been so nervous and I really wanted to work at Target because I love it there and every experience I've had there was so good. I really want to help others because that's what my major is and to get that experience here would be so beneficial to me. I hope this leads to a future permanent job at Target!

DIY Coffee Flower Pot + Green Onion Arrangement

My video on how to make coffee beans look more attractive and a green onion arrangement that I thought would be nice as a plant in your house as well as just to grow for fun!

You only need pipe cleaners and just keep making loops and make sure to twist after every loop because you don't want the flowers to come undone! You could probably do this activity with children.. haha

For the green onion arrangement, I recommend getting a cup with "carvings" or grooves on them so the glass is a little distorted because it kinda hides the roots of the green onions as well as it's pretty too look at as well!

Thanks for reading and checking out my blog! :)

Honey Roasted Potatoes Recipe!

So me and Aaron have decided to start this crazy new diet where we only eat fruit and vegetables mon-thurs and fri-sun is when we can eat meat.
Obviously there are some exceptions to mon-thurs because we can't completely survive on vegetables and fruit. Our other options are bread, eggs, beans, cereal, etc.
So I don't really like beans which I think is one of the main replacements for meat in vegetarian dishes so I went with potatoes! ^^

I made these honey roasted potatoes and they are so amazing.. I love sweet things so this was pretty much the best thing ever and it's so simple to make with ingredients you most likely have already in your house.

What you'll need:
-potatoes
-salt
-pepper
-honey
-cooking oil/spray
-bowl
-foil
-oven (lol)

First you want to preheat the oven to 375 F
Now I used the small red potatoes because I saw them at target and I prefer them over the big brown potatoes but I'm pretty sure whichever you get will be fine..
I cut them into bite size pieces and dunked them in water. I'm not really sure why but when I used to work at a restaurant, the kitchen would tell me that when cutting potatoes, you should dunk them in a bowl of water to wash off the starch of something..?
Afterwards, I tried them off because I feel like the mixture sticks better to the potatoes when dry.

Everything is to taste so I'm sorry that there are no exact measures...
I added some salt and pepper to cover all the top of the potatoes evenly. Then with the honey I just kept going in circles and tried to cover them evenly. Then with a gloved hand, I mixed everything together so the potatoes are covered completely with the mixture.

**You want to put more pepper for a spicier kick and more honey for more sweetness. I don't like to add too much salt but this is totally up to you.
On a metal tray, you want to wrap it with foil and spray some cooking oil/spray onto it. Then spread the potatoes out evenly.

When the oven is done preheating, you want to put it in for 15 min and then take it out and flip them over and put it in for another 15 min. I put them in for 16 min each time because some didn't fully cook all the way through so you might have to adjust the timing.

The honey seemed to caramelize and the pepper added a slight kick so it was sweet and spicy. It's soooo good.

I plan on making a video today where I make a different style of potatoes and we'll see how it goes because it will be my first time making it and Aaron (my boyfriend) will be test tasting them! >:)

This is my channel if you want to check it out!

Here's the video on how to make Chili Cheese and Garlic and Herb Cheese Potatoes!

New Video!

Heyyy
I decided to make a video on how to choose a good dentist because it just has been bothering me and I don't want anyone else to go through what I did.

Always make sure that the dentist is explaining everything to you.
Make sure the dentist is always showing you your xrays and showing you your teeth formation and any cavities that you may have!
Remember that with anesthetic, your mouth cannot feel any irregularities! My dentist would always ask me if my teeth feel fine after they finish filling in a cavity. I would always tell them yes because with the anesthetic it feels fine and even if I were to lie and tell them it doesn't feel fine, I wouldn't be able to pinpoint where it feels off.
Just remember you are their patient and you deserve to know what they're doing to your teeth especially because they're getting money from you!!
